  1. Not sure about this one. Noble comes from a Latin word which means famous, well known, excellent. Today it seems to mean the better qualities of the upper class. None of these would be a prerequisite for a good wife to me. The backbone of our marriage has been honesty and strength, compassion and sympathy, compromise and occasionally the courage to face off the other and say No.
    Oh and love. 🙂
