a series of lingering issues and injuries led to the the physiotherapist on Friday evening. she has issued a decree of rest and a command of lifting nothing heavier than half a kilo. it means using a smaller tea cup than usual. so between pain and a lower caffeine level than usual I am not in a happy place.
My survival suggestion to you is simple : do what I say, the first time I command it; or stay out of my way. Just do it!

And that command differs from every other day?
Love the pic. Hope you’re feeling better ASAP.
Yes, well, you do have a point. I just won’t pretend to be nice.
Maybe you shouldn’t have rearranged the library after all. It’s Dewey out to get you, lol.
True. I also tripped over the leg of a couch in the library. That started it all off. I am obviously a delicate flower meant to direct and not do…
That’s a bendy guy! Half a kilo is not much when one considers what we lift or move about during a regular day.
A three litre bottle of milk must weight more than that! Women’s handbags are a big source of back problems apparently. Our habit of carrying everything in our handbags!
Straws.
Seriously, straws.
Someone can get some from a Starbucks or equivalent that can deal with hot liquids.
It really helps when there are back or neck issues.
Hot liquid straws … must get some for sure. My brother has to drink through a straw due to one side of his face being paralysed and he would certainly find that a help.
Darn! Laowolf beat me to it!!
That’s a pic from our managers’ manual…….
They run around with ….. yeah, you’ve got it.
and more than a few politicians!
Oh..no caffeine? Boy, you are a martyr. I hope you feel better soon.
I am expecting the Pope to post my sainthood in the mail any day now!
I never knew that position was possible until I started working with engineers. Some can go farther during meetings. hahahaha
Hope you’re feeling better soon. I agree with Lauowolf, you don’t need a smaller tea cup you need a longer straw.
Pain will do that to you. Perhaps the caffeine reduction is a blessing in disguise. I can just see you launching from your couch, screaming in pain!
Oh, and feel better (careful hugs).
I hope you are feeling better now FD!
