I guess it is what they did before television! LOL!
I think it was thought to be good for their health. As most didn’t have bathrooms I think it was probably a wise idea for the common good!
Nice to see that even in the roaring 20′s us women carried around excess baggage. You think by now we would have figured out a way to chuck it.
Indecision and low self esteem will always ensure that we pack too much. In our house, Mr FD is worse than me!
